Artist Statement
I have always felt a strong connection to animals and nature. Since I was a little girl I have been drawn to horses, dogs and cats. I love the energy and essence of animals. I enjoy their company, antics and unconditional love. Animals are magical beings to me. My hope is to capture this magic in my artwork. My art is everchanging and growing. One year ago I moved into my first studio space. I always loved to draw and create but it was not until college that I started taking art classes. Sometimes I feel behind other artists but I remind myself I am at the place that is right for me at this time. So, as I work on reaching my 10,000 hours of creating to become an even better artist you will see my artwork change and grow. My studio allows me the time and space to create more than I have before and I am truly inspired by this opportunity and thankful.
